Playful Seeds

Playful Seeds brings climate change and sustainability into the classroom with a fun twist! Through hands-on games, we help kids tackle big problems and discover creative solutions—all while boosting their sensory and emotional smarts. With over 30 workshops and 1,000+ young eco-heroes onboard, we’re planting the seeds for a greener future.

IAM

We provide pro-bono consulting to non-profits, social enterprises, and NGOs that need a hand with communication, fundraising, and financial planning. We also team up with student associations offering similar services: it’s a win-win—students get real-world experience through our mentoring, and we get to amplify change where it matters most.

Heroes Never Sleep

Have you ever met a hero in your daily life? Heroes Never Sleep is an inter-hub project in partnership with Lavazza, aimed at raising awareness about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. By sharing the stories of everyday heroes across Italy—whom we call “Local Heroes”—we highlight how small, local initiatives can make a big impact.

Reshaping Fashion

An inter-hub project tackling sustainability in the fashion industry. As Global Shapers, our goal is to raise awareness about the industry’s impact on both the environment and society, and to promote more conscious consumption. Over the years, we’ve run social media campaigns packed with practical tips to help people become

ShapeMi

Through a “solutions challenge,” participants come up with and develop ideas to improve urban life. They get guidance from experienced mentors like Plug and Play Italy, Start-up Geeks, and Start-up Wise Guys. The best team wins an innovation award and the opportunity to collaborate with our partners to make their idea come true.

Scale360

Scale360, a project by the World Economic Forum, promotes circular innovation by using Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to rethink how we consume and produce. We decided to tackle food waste in school canteens: after discussions with key stakeholders, we hosted a co-creation session, bringing together experts from academia, the public, and private sectors to brainstorm solutions and drive change.

Improve Milano

Since 2017, we’ve hosted over 100 workshops for students across Italy, focusing on unemployment, new skill demands, and work challenges. Partnering with organizations like the UN’s Local Pathways Fellowship and Politecnico di Milano, we cover 30+ topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals, including healthcare, smart agriculture, and smart cities, with over 6,500 participants and 20 expert speakers involved.

DiscoveringMi

Born from the collaboration between the Global Shapers and the FAI Delegation of Milan, the project aims to promote the inclusion of migrants through the knowledge of Milan’s historical, artistic, and cultural heritage. The beneficiaries of the project were the people hosted by the Fondazione Casa della Carità, a local association providing a real home for people in need and promotes cultural and educational initiatives.
